Velma V. Rought

Velma V. Rought 1925 - 2021 Velma V. Rought crossed into the light on Friday, September 24, 2021 and joined her husband Donald to which she was married for 70 years. Velma is survived by her three daughters, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Velma was welcomed into heaven by her husband, parents, and seven siblings. Velma worked in the grocery business for many years of which she enjoyed very much. As the years passed her passion was completing word search puzzles. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and Sunday games of Parcheesi with her daughters. Time spent with family and hosting family gatherings was something she enjoyed most of all. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 2nd at 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols.
