Victor Leo Vertacnik

Victor Leo Vertacnik, 93, of Englewood, Florida passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Victor was born on July 26, 1923 in Scranton, PA. Vic proudly served his country with the US Army during World War II. Victor is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Victoria, his two daughters: Sonja Perkins with her husband David and their children Miles and Milena; Heidi Glavac with her husband Martin and their children Jackson and Nina; and a niece Carole Wheeler with her husband James. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass to celebrate Victor's life on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Englewood, FL. Following mass there will be a gathering for family and friends in Park Forest.
