Vincent H. Thomas Jr.

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why…. Our hearts were broken on Friday morning, April 2, 2021 with the sudden passing of our loved one, Vincent Hugh Thomas, Jr., 60, of Nichols. Vincent was born on May 1, 1960 in Binghamton a son of Patricia (Kocan) and the late Vincent H. Thomas, Sr. He proudly served his country in the US Marines from 1979 - 1983 and our community will always remember his service as a Military Banner waves in his memory. For many years, Vincent traveled the country as a truck driver. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Vincent could be found repairing motorcycles or touring on one of his many treasures. Vincent was a devoted member of the Barton United Methodist Church and would often participate in their Sunday services. Vincent will be greatly missed by his wife and companion Mary Yaple; his mother Patricia Thomas; his daughters: Tiffany (Adam) Mishoe; Vinay Pridgen; his step son Eric Hayes; grandchildren: Moracey and Hayden; Mary's daughters: Anna Hurd, Amanda Cole, Nicole Peterson and Victoria Yaple and their families. His brothers: Scott Thomas, Mark, Fred and Gary Sargent; his sister Penny (Steve) Merrill. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his church family. Vincent was predeceased by his father Vincent H. Thomas, Sr. A gathering and time of remembering Vincent will be held on Saturday, April 10th at 3 pm at the Barton United Methodist Church with Pastor Alan Bill, officiating.
