Vivian A. Burns

Vivian Amy Burns, 82, of Fort Mills, South Carolina and formerly of Little Meadows, Pa passed away on Monday, August 10, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Burns, her children: Robert (Linda) Burns, Gary Burns, John (Susan) Burns, Nancy (Paul Jr.) Moran; brother Lawrence Jr. (Josephine) Smith, sister: Helen Traver; sisters-in-law: Viva Smith and Ruth Smith; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Vivian was predeceased by her parents: Lawrence Sr. and Alice (Beers) Smith, brothers: Edward, Herbert and Floyd; brother-in-law: Charles Traver. Devoted to her family, Vivian always treasured the time spent with them. She enjoyed puzzles, and making arts and crafts. Funeral services and a celebration of Vivian's life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols with Pastor Kevin Setzer, officiating. Interment will follow in the Warren Center Cemetery. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Friday, August 14th from 6 to 9 pm at the funeral chapel and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of the service at 11.
