William "Billy" R. Peletz

William R. Peletz, 50, of Halsey Valley Rd., Barton, passed away on Saturday evening, September 5, 2009 following a period of declining health. Affectionately, known and remembered as Billy, he was born on February 28, 1959, in New Jersey a son of the late Peter Peletz and Sally Ratti. Billy was a veteran of the US Air Force and an employee of ENSCO where he had worked on various helicopter programs. He was NY Giants Fan, enjoyed watching the Mets and Yankees and visiting with friends, neighbors and his cat Tigger. Billy is survived by his neighbors on Halsey Valley Road, a brother, a sister, two nephews and a niece. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A period of visitation and time for sharing memories will be held on Thursday from 6 pm until the time of the service.
