William Joseph Humphreys Jr.

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me". Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. William Joseph Humphrey Jr, age 94, passed away peacefully August 10, 2022. William, "Bill", was a World War II veteran, loved his family, travel, and enjoyed life to the fullest; never met a stranger. Bill is preceded in death by his parents - William and Ruth, wife - Ada, daughters - Theresa and Nola, siblings - John, Jerry, Peter, Richard, Mary, Nancy, and Suzanne. Bill is survived by his daughter - Dana (David), son - Blair (Karen), sisters - Sandra (Ryan) and Marcia, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff, residents, and families at Dominion Senior Living, Sevierville, TN for the outpouring of love and unparallel support and to Smoky Mountain Hospice staff and Chaplain. The family will be gathering at the Nichols Cemetery on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11 am to celebrate and remember his life. Words of comfort will be shared by Deacon Michael Donovan.
