Our History

Established in 1900 by Burt H. Sutfin, Sutfin Funeral Chapel is the oldest family~owned funeral home serving families throughout the Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania. The families we are privileged to serve deserve, and will receive, our very best professional efforts at all times.


We conduct our business according to three basic values~ Caring, Trust and a Commitment to Excellence.


We, the Cooley, family have passed the torch to Brent to carry on
